Voluntary blood donor program
Our structure is built on a solid foundation of voluntary and altruistic donations, and our dedicated veterinary teams are always there to make sure we're following the best practices. Once we've got a donor who's healthy and meets our criteria, we get them scheduled for their donation day. It's a pretty straightforward process — it's super smooth, safe, and painless! Let's keep spreading kindness and making a difference together!
Quality blood products
Each blood donation allows the preparation of several blood components, including red blood cells, plasma and platelets. This means that several patients may benefit from the donation. These blood products are manufactured in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices standards and veterinary-specific guidelines. Our specialised laboratory team ensures the screening of infectious agents, specific quality controls and a strict temperature control during the entire process, in line with the standards applied to the preparation of any medicine. Safety and well-being are of the utmost importance.
